## Statement

While on the BLEOST Board he helped to secretly remove Sheriff Anthony Chancelor from their board.   
  
Anthony Chancelor was **secretly removed from the Board on Law Enforcement Officer Standards and Training (BLEOST)** in May 2026. The removal was reportedly due to concerns over his **public outbursts and erratic behavior**, which the board deemed a threat to the public interest.  
However, the public was not notified, and **his certifications were not restricted or revoked**, despite the board’s stated concerns
